Services We Provide

We start with a diagnosis. The work follows.

Our services, ordered the way we actually work — consulting and documentation first, hands-on care and field work second. The right cut, treatment, or removal depends entirely on getting the diagnosis right.

Field work has a $350 minimum, which covers a proper visit: the drive, setup, careful work, and cleanup. Small fixes can often be handled same-day during your consultation, billed by time on site. Most single-tree prescription prunings run $450–600. You'll always have the number in writing before we begin.

How our pricing works

01 — Consulting & Documentation

01

Tree Health Diagnostics

An on-site diagnosis of what's actually going on — structure, soil, water, pests — before anyone recommends a single cut.

Consultation · from $200

02

Pre-Purchase Tree Inspections

Know what you're buying. Every significant tree on the property, with a clear written summary you can act on before closing.

03

Written report · $350

Written Arborist Reports

Documentation that stands up on its own — for boards justifying a budget, sellers disclosing condition, or a second opinion before a tree comes down. Single tree to full property.

See Reports · Single tree from $450

04

Post-Storm Damage Evaluations

After a monsoon, a clear read on what's damaged, what can be saved, and what genuinely needs to come down.

Property & Community Tree Management

A complete inventory and prioritized plan — or a full annual care program with one arborist responsible for every tree, separate from your landscape contract.

For Communities · Custom scope

Not sure where to start?

A consultation is the front door to everything else. We'll confirm scope and pricing in writing before anything begins.

The diagnosis isn't an upsell before the "real" work. It is the work — everything we recommend comes from it.

06

Prescription Pruning

Every cut planned in writing before the saw comes out — structural pruning to a documented prescription, built on Dr. Ed Gilman's research. The tree gets exactly what it needs, and you get the reasoning on paper.

07

Tree Planting & Establishment

Most tree problems we diagnose — buried root flares, girdling roots, wrong species for the site, emitters against the trunk — were decided on planting day. We plant trees so those problems never start.

Every planting includes species and site selection, correct planting depth with the root flare exposed, proper basin and emitter placement, staking only where needed, and a written first-year watering plan tailored to the species and season.

For larger box trees, we specify the tree, mark the site, and supervise installation alongside your nursery's crew — verifying depth, root condition, and irrigation before sign-off.

Planting (15-gallon and under): from $175 per tree plus the cost of the tree

08

Soil & Root Zone Correction

The physical correction for stressed trees: root collar excavation, emitter audit and relocation, planting depth, mulch, and removal of girdling ties and stakes. A recovery plan built for the desert, not against it.

09

Root Investigation & Root Pruning

When roots and hardscape are in conflict, the first job is finding out whether they actually are. We excavate strategically to locate the roots involved, determine what's causing the movement, and identify which can be pruned without compromising the tree. Root barriers and further correction are scoped from what we find. Investigation first, always.

10

Citrus Pruning

Size, light, and airflow for backyard citrus — pruned to keep the tree productive without stripping it bare.

Tree Removal & Replacement

Not every struggling tree needs to come out — and we'd rather prove that first. When removal is on the table, we start with a diagnosis to confirm the tree truly can't be saved. If it can't, we coordinate safe removal and help you choose, site, and plant the right replacement so the next tree doesn't repeat the last one's story.

Every job follows the plan

Field work is executed to the assessment that came before it — so you always know what's being done and why.

A note on scope

We handle pruning, care, and removals at or below roughly 30 feet — worked from the ground, a pole, or a rented lift. For genuinely oversized or high-aerial jobs, we bring in an insured climbing partner or refer you to someone we trust, rather than improvise work that calls for a specialist. Honest scope is part of the service, not a limitation on it.
